Story

A fast moving tale, the story begins with a faction killing at Rayalaseema and the victim is Ramineedu’s (Nagineedu) brother. He along with his two sons (supreeth, venugopal) vow to kill the entire family of the killer. However, the killer’s wife manages to escape with the child. After 28 years, the scene changes to Hyderabad and here lives Ramu (sunil) who loses his parents and is right now struggling to find livelihood. Just then, he gets a letter informing him of his property about five acres land in his native village that he has never been before. He decides to dispose that land and buy his own auto trolley. However, this is the same village which has Ramineedu and his sons and in fact, Ramu’s father is the killer of Ramineedu’s brother. Meanwhile, Ramu also meets Aparna (saloni), Ramineedu’s daughter. A twist of fate plays its game and Ramu lands up at Aparna’s home and even Ramineedu discovers the identity of Ramu. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Crew and cast

The director has come up with a good narration to a normal story and his presentation was also relevant. The dialogues were apt, the script could have been better and the screenplay was appealing. Background score is a highlight and two songs were worth taking home. Cinematography is another asset. Editing was crisp, costumes were perfect and the art department was amazing. Sunil was superb and doesn’t leave any complaints, equally good was Saloni and she is sure to give few sleepless nights to the male audience, she is a natural seductress. Nagineedu was natural, Supreeth was good, Venugopal was suitable, Jayavani was regular, Brahmaji got a decent role and he made full use of it, Anita Nath was average, Sandhya was okay, Subbaraya Sharma was effective, Rao Ramesh came and went.

Analysis

The film is basically an entertainer and though the backdrop deals with faction, it didn’t have that sort of gore or intensity to create disturbance. While the first half is quite impressive and builds up good momentum, the second half slithers a bit and it goes on till the climax. Overall, the feel is maintained and the audience is connected to the film at all times. The technical values and the freshness of Saloni add extra punch to it. At the box office, this will be a profit grosser.
